What is Gluten?
Hi my name is Jasnoor, I am Gluten Free
I found out that sometimes people ask me what is
Gluten? Or what does Gluten Free mean?
Gluten? Or what does Gluten Free mean?
I can now further tell you what gluten free means and
what it is.
what it is.
Because I have read this awesome book about my condition
now let’s chop away
now let’s chop away
(My Writing would be in red so I am basically reviewing this book)
Gluten is a special type of protein that is found in the
most common types of grains, such as wheat, rye, and
barley. (rye and barley are grains of wheat I think) This
means that gluten can be found in many different types
barley. (rye and barley are grains of wheat I think) This

Most people eat gluten all the time with no problems. Some people, though, can't eat gluten because it causes a bad reaction in their bodies. (whenever I eat gluten I get very sick and I have to stay home for more than two days) This condition is called celiac disease, and up to 1% of the population has it. (Yay I am an alien nah just kidding I’m a human with an allergy whoop)
If people with celiac disease eat gluten, the gluten
causes their bodies' immune systems to react. Instead
of protecting the body from disease,(sad right) though,
the immune system attacks the part of the digestive
system that helps to process vitamins and nutrients
from food. This can make it hard for people with celiac
disease to stay healthy. (now that's why I’m weak and
why my arms legs hands & fingers are so skinny and bony)
If you have celiac disease, the way to treat it is simple: don't eat gluten! (Yeah I get that) It's really not as easy as it sounds, though, since gluten is a part of so many foods. (I know sometimes when I was little I would cry and get jealous and say why am I like this) With careful planning and help from a doctor, it's possible to stay away from gluten, so that your digestive system can heal. (If I heal I can go back to gluten and yes I was gluten, I turned gluten free at the age of 4 now isn’t that sad here’s a tip if your gluten free you shouldn't trust some people I had big trust issues on chefs, cooks, relatives & Cafeteria foods so here I am)
